This blog was started by me, Stephen Wilcox, with all the best intentions but its progress was stymied by lack of access, time and life pressures.
One year ago my family and I returned from an extended tour of Europe. I was going to be completing this as a travel journal whilst "on the road" but leaving my laptop on a train in Rome ended that idea so now I have looked back over this and re-read my group emails that were sent home fairly regularly and decided to marry them as a new writing project.
Everything from the post Brisbane to Rome onwards initially appeared as emails. I may write some extra pieces to explain or accompany these posts and will be adding lots of photos. Hope you like whatever this belog becomes.
